PERSONALITY PROFILE: ACHIEVING SUCCESS WITH DIFFERENT PERSONALITIES

Return to Professional Skills Main Page

OVERVIEW

This workshop addresses the belief, “this job would be easy if it were not for the difficult people”.  By looking at the characteristics that make us different, we can learn how to work with each other.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Participants who complete this workshop will:

·                     Identify and understand the personalities of those around you.  Learn what makes one person a born leader, another a mediator and another a perfectionist.

·                     Know your own personality, setting yourself free to be who you really are and not who you think you should be.

·                     Appreciate the need for personality differences amongst you and your peers, particularly during problem solving.

·                     Learn to deal with information despite the manner in which it was communicated.

COURSE OUTLINE

1.       Discuss the Personality Profile Model and how values are linked to personality and behaviour.

2.       Participants take the Personality Profile indicator to determine their personality.
